About

Digital marketing analyst, and parent blogger. In it for the Lego, laughs, love of numbers, and chocolate!

Helen is an ex business analyst turned digital marketing specialist, who blogs for kicks, and weaves her magic with numbers in her digital marketing role at Channel Mum. She has been blogging since early 2011, and is an Institute of Digital Marketing qualified social media professional*whatever that means*.

She has been advising companies on social media marketing for the last five years; particularly in the parenting sector. Clients include Talk to Mums, Truprint, Channel Mum, and the App, Readly. She gave up the freelance life because she wanted to get a little bit more control back as her kids grow, so is now employed as an analyst in Channel Mum. Mainly because being a taxi service takes up so much of her time...

She has managed Facebook ad budgets, evaluated social media and SEO systems, managed social for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts, as well as advising on social strategy overall. She was a freelance writer, and still writes and edits her own blog in her spare (!) time. Clients on her blog include Microscooters, Disney, Learning Resources, and many other top parenting brands.

Ask me anything about blogging, social media (particularly Facebook ads, systems, and analysis), and even some of that parenting stuff too!

As well as all this, she has two kids. Therefore she is also a qualified referee, an expert in building Lego, and hiding in loos to eat chocolate.
